My philosophy of education is affected by my family deeply. I grow up in my mother’s own kindergarten. My life has been rounding the teachers and students. Since I was young I know I am an innately teacher. I chose 「Early Education 」to be my major when I was study in college. Because I know I can makes some contribution to the society in education.


The educational objective of my mother's school is “to help children develop into confident and competent human beings, endowed with an enthusiasm for learning. We encourage children to think creatively, use all their senses and to become involved in every facet of learning.We take meticulous care of each child’s developmental needs. Our problem includes cognitive language skills, physical motor skills, problem solving skills, singing, dance, and social development” I am very proud of my mother because she care every child; she treat every child like her own. My mother thinks her school is a kind of responsibility to the society, to parents, to the child and teachers. It is not a work, it is a career. I learned a lot of things from my mother especially the way to look at life as a challenge and that never take anything for granted. And I hope my self can be like my mother, always do the best to family and education.


“I have a dream…”This speech is nothing about education, but the speech main idea is “everyone has the same rights and same chance. All men are created equal” –Martin Luther King, Jr. I love this idea; education is for everyone not only for rich people’s child. English is one of the most spoken languages in the world and has become a universal language for communication between people across countries and races. In Taiwan some kindergarten schools start teaching English when the child is three years old, but the tuition is very height. The English kindergarten in Taiwan is for rich child. I have a dream, which I want every student if they want to learn English they can learn. I want to teach English by effective learning method. That is why I went to USA to learn how to teach ESL students in Taiwan. Most kindergartens in Taiwan build a whole English environment. The students in school can’t speak Chinese. But “second language students need backgrounds knowledge in their first language to auxiliary study the second language” Hsu, Yuehkuei 1994. I learn a lot effective learning method in SIU.


There is no intact education system and method. But we should try to pursue an intact education system and method. I wish my students can happy learning in my class. I want to make the best efforts for the next century of ours.
